Materials - timber, acrylic and cork
This house sits on the site of an old piggery in an area of outstanding beauty so we chose model materials of timber and cork that would reflect the sustainable nature of the build.
The house includes sedum roofing which is shown by the cork contours extending over the building in two places.
The 2.5mm cork contours really accentuate the steep slope where the house is located and the many cork trees show how secluded and low impact this building is to the surrounding environment.
